Labatt Scramble Set To Go

The Labatt Scramble scheduled for Gowan Brae Golf Club on June 24th and 25th is very nearly full. This is expected to be one of the best two man scrambles in the Province this year so get registered now by calling the pro shop at 546-2707.

Moosehead Celebrity set for Friday at 12:30 pm shot gun

The Annual Moosehead Celebrity kicks off this Friday with a number of NHL prospects and Acadie Bathurst Titan players and alumni in attendance. Also, there are a number of high caliber golf professionals and amateurs here as well.

Gowan Brae Junior Girls to Attend Future LInks Clinic

For the second year, two local Junior golfers, Kelsey Knowles and Lauren Daley, have been invited to attend the Future Links NBGA Elite Camp.

New Head Pro Appointed at Gowan Brae Golf Club

Mr. Dave Ross of Montreal has been appointed by the Board of Directors as the new head pro at Gowan Brae Golf Club. He will work as a mentor for Adam Chamberlain who has been appointed pro shop manager and will be assistant pro until he reaches his full accreditation in three years.

Gilbert Vienneau has given the green light to open the course for play on Thursday begining at 9: 00am

Locker Assignments - Mens and Ladies

Locker assignments will start on Monday, May 2, 9: 00am on a first come first serve basis. See staff for confirmation of numbers and combinations for each locker.

Expected Opening- Thursday, May 5th- 2005

If the weather cooperates, The club should be open for play on May 5th. All the ice sheilds and insulation has been removed from the greens and the breathable covers are being left on to enhance the growth. The greens are again this year in excellent shape for so early in the season.
