2024 Membership Information

2024 Membership InformationPlease see the 2024 membership renewal package attached to this email. The new package has all the information for our 2024 membership offerings as well as the information sheet to fill in.All of our membership options are staying the same for 2024, but this will be the final year for the 9 hole membership category. This category was introduced in 2018 to grow membership and as we all know our membership is at capacity right now. All our 9 hole members will be able to move into another membership category in 2025. If you have any questions please contact Director of Golf Adam Chamberlain We have the option to set up monthly credit card payment plans of 2 or 4 equal payments at no additional charge.As we move into the 2024 golf season, we have a full membership from 2023 and a waiting list for new members. We have set a deadline of April 1st 2024 for all returning members from 2023 to either pay in full or start their payment plan for the 2024 membership. After this date we will begin assessing the number of new members to accept for the season. If you have any questions please contact Adam Chamberlain or Jessica Morrison at Gowan Brae.

The 2023 Annual Meeting of the Bathurst Golf Association (Gowan Brae Golf & Country Club) will take place on Sunday February 4th 2024 at 1pm. If you are unable to attend the meeting you'll find a proxy form in the file below. You can sign the form and email it to info@gowanbrae.ca or drop it off at the clubhouse. 

2023 Men's Senior Tournament

The 2023 men's senior tournament will take place on Wednesday July 5th at 1pm.  (This event was postponed from June due to the weather)Please see the summary of prize winners below. 

Results of the 2023 Bradley Chamberlain 2 Man Scramble

After a 3-hole playoff, your 2023 Bradley Chamberlain 2-Man Scramble winners are Andrew MacLaggan & Travis Dunnett, defeating Eric Boudreau & Shawn Crawford. Both teams played extremely well in some VERY heavy winds and blowing rain, and finished only one stroke apart. A complete list of winners is attached below. Gowan Brae presently has opening for the following positions: • Food & Beverage shift - Full Time Seasonal: May till October 40 hours per week $15.00 per hr plus gratuities. • Dish Washer/ Cleaning Position- Full time seasonal: May till October 40 hours per week $16.00 per hr.
