Opening on Thursday, May 4th, 2006

All the covers have been removed from the greens and tees throughout the course over the past few days. The greens are in great shape for this early. There is some snow mold on the greens which has already been treated so we should see that disappear in a few weeks. We will leave our breathable covers on for another week or two to generate more heat and get some early growth. This will also protect the greens from the cold nights. Number one tee was also covered and it looks great again this year. The course is scheduled to be open on Thursday, May 4th. You can call for a tee time starting on Tuesday May 2nd after 8:00am. Also, the pro shop and club house will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on April 29th and 30th. This will give people an opportunity to settle up with their dues before the 10% surcharge after May 1st and get prepared for the upcoming season which should be one of the best we have ever had.
